Our story

Hi there, we are so glad you are here! We are Alan and Chris Moberg. A father-son business owned and operated since 2017 in sunny San Diego, CA. We developed, patented, and are now selling our own invention called MuzicLight. It is the world’s first back-lit instrument wall hanger, and in January 2020 we were awarded BEST in SHOW at NAMM!

Thousands of guitar wall hangers are sold every year, however, there is nothing on the market that can help musicians wanting to display their instruments. They deserve to be displayed, and it would be even better if they were able to light up the guitar!

People want to have the ability to showcase their guitar without seeing blemishes, handprints, or scratches.

We developed a way to display your guitar in a way that is worthy of its beauty.

Meet the Team

Chris Moberg

FOUNDER, PARTNER, INVENTOR
Chris is a creative person, an entrepreneur, a musician, and a business owner. You can find him playing music across San Diego, surfing, or with his beautiful wife and sweet baby girl. In the past, he worked as a General Manager with the country’s largest musical instrument retailer for over 10 years and saw an opportunity. There was one constant ask from the customers and that question was never fulfilled at these stores until he had an idea. He proposed this new idea to Alan, his dad, and they began drawing up the plans for the MuzicLight wall bracket.

FOUNDER, PARTNER, DESIGNER
Alan grew up in Southern California. He loves the beach, the mountains, and basically the Southern California lifestyle. He is a father of 3 boys. He has been a contractor, a salesman, a businessman, an entrepreneur, and has always been a tinkerer. In the 25 years of the lighting business he owned, he learned quite a lot about how lighting works, which has come in quite handy for MuzicLight.
